Kelly Whitaker’s restaurant projects are rarely easy to define.
Drinks purchased inside Dairy Block’s Milk Market cannot be taken into the lobby of the neighboring Maven Hotel, or the Dairy Block alley. The proposed permit would change that by allowing people to maximize their time in mixed use developments, without their drink deciding where they can go.
If you’re not too exhausted from exploring alfresco, check out the year-old Dairy Block, a newly pedestrianized alley lined with small-maker shops, cafés, and craft-cocktail bars.
The two grain-based eateries—a restaurant and a cafe—are located inside the new Free Market at 18th and Blake.
