SUMMARY:Hispanic Heritage Through Food
DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with an elevated chef’s dinner in collaboration with Toro Latin Kitchen. \nExplore unique flavors from both Chef Carlos Fierro and Chef Ricardo Miron as they come together to create several courses incorporating the flavors of southwestern flare and hispanic history. \nDinner will take place on September 30th at Kachina Cantina\, from 6 – 8pm. Our chefs will dive into the history\, inspiration\, and complementary tastes of each dish and drink. Our official tequila partner for this dinner will be Dame Mas\, providing expressions to pair exquisitely with each course. \nTickets are $80 and can be purchased below. \nTHE MENU \nFirst Course | Ceviche Mestizo \nRed snapper\, shrimp\, pico de gallo\, leche de tigre\, serrano\, red onion\, avocado puree\, onion ash\, cilantro. Served with corn chips. \nSecond Course | Chiltepin-Crusted Pork Belly \nCrispy pork belly\, cauliflower puree\, roasted corn\, pineapple salsa\, mezcal pickled red onions. \nThird Course | Seared Corvina with Gold Hominy Ragout \nSeared corvina\, Aji amarillo\, yellow bell pepper puree\, hominy with cherry tomato confit. \nFourth Course | Mar & Sol \nCoconut foam\, pineapple tapioca\, mint granita\, passion fruit syrup\, mango sorbet. \n*20% of food and beverage sales will be donated to Chicano Humanities & Arts Council. \nGET TICKETS
