Inside Her Studio presents ABSTRACT, a pop up art gallery on display from Friday, Aug. 6th – Friday, Sept. 3rd.
Dairy Block & Inside Her Studio will also be hosting a First Friday Art Walk on Friday, Aug. 6th from 4-8PM, featuring works by more than a dozen artists, along with live music, pop-up bars and food & drink specials.
The ABSTRACT pop-up gallery will feature three female artists:
• Kristen Abbott – Abbott is an intuitive, mixed media painter from Boulder known for her use of texture and layering to create history and a sense of story. She enjoys making marks with unconventional tools such as brooms, scrapers and kitchen utensils. Her process is visceral – guided by emotion as well as a naturally perceptive eye for composition and design.
• Jessie Bélisle – Bélisle is a self-taught contemporary artist from Québec, Canada now living and working from Denver. Her education in the world of optics blended with her research into the visual arts fueled by her Reiki knowledge.
• Taylor Herzog – A Colorado based painter, muralist & lover of dance, Herzog’s work resembles and plays off the structure and foundation of the Colorado landscape she boldly portrays and loves. Each of her paintings are a visual diary, a representation of her playfulness, energy, vitality, and willingness to love and explore.
Located off the Dairy Block Alley, the ABSTRACT pop-up gallery will be open 11AM-7PM on Tuesday – Saturday and 12-5PM on Sunday.
