ARTIST BIO
Introducing Drift.Co, short for “Driftwood Collective”, a collaborative Americana music project led by singer-songwriter Dan “Cargo” Ainson. Drift.Co features indie-folk inspired lyricism, matched with rhythmic delivery. Dan came to Denver after immersing himself in the indie-folk songwriting scene of Portland, Oregon. His second single “Halfway Houses”, set to be recorded this fall, is an Americana powerhouse, featuring local artist David Lawrence and the Spoonful.
Drift.Co’s live sound is inspired by the lyrical storytelling of John Craigie and Tyler Childers. Their upcoming EP will feature a full band sound inspired by Paul Simon, Van Morrison, and Brandi Carlile.
